7.15 — weeknotes — Hounslow Gets Digital — LARRB!

Stayed over this week to make the commute easier on Wednesday and had a very chilled evening, did less than nothing and was lovely having a 1 minute commute.

Have a few challenges currently that we need to look at things differently within the team. As part of the monthly management day this week, after a lovely Spoons breakfast as standard, we came together to discuss these and, more importantly, came up with a few changes and things to tweak. Was really good coming in to really focus on the challenges.

Several team check-ins this week as well which have been good to spend time with colleagues just to chat, an hour each just wasn’t enough.

Went to CLT on Tuesday for a Digital update and a Resilience update. Both good updates and several tweaks and challenges resulting from the conversation in the Digital portfolio — more dates needed in a number of areas.

In central London Thurs for the Local Authorities Regional Resilience Board, I represent the west area of London and is the coming together of all the regions to ensure that London is as prepared as it can be in the event of incidents. As usual with these meetings, a wide range of topics discussed.
