More or less recovered now from the election count at the end of last week. Weekend was a bit of a struggle but managed to catch up on some sleep.

Monday at home and had some time in the afternoon to catch up again. I have the final of my level 7 course in about a month so really need to get the final bits and pieces tied up. Only a few weeks to the deadline so that will start to focus my mind!

Thursday this week was a LOTI meeting in London. I can’t believe that LOTI is already 5 years old. We had a celebratory drink on Thursday to mark the occasion. There was an all hands meeting in the afternoon but events in the morning at the office meant my time was better spent in Hounslow than travelling in for the meeting. So I felt bad just turning up for the beer when a number of colleagues had been working all afternoon — but glad I did as was good to catch up with colleagues.

Eddie said a few weeks and raised a glass to celebrate the birthday. He gave an update on all the things that councils and Loti are doing and have achieved over the last year. So much! So much more to come as well — the ambition from Eddie, the team and the London community is amazing!

There has been a number of conversations around our TCE programme this week with the Resident Experience Board and overall Board on Thursday. I think I have said this before but we are moving to the delivery phase of this now and ‘things’ are starting to gather momentum. We went live with the pilot for web chat this week! Small pilot but good to get going.

Friday in the office for a workshop / training on the Hounslow Humanitarian Assistance framework. Tom from the Resilience Team did some training and awareness on the framework and then we went through a table top exercise. There was a great conversation, lots of challenge, questions and a number of things to think about in the future. Great session.
