2.18 — a short week this week

A short week this week which will result in a short weeknotes this week but a longer one next week — with some more details on both weeks.

Monday saw our first Digital Security group — the aim of this new group is to ensure that we continue to review our security and information governance risks for the Council. John gave a comprehensive review of where we are and some of the next steps — an excellent start to the new group!

Also really pleased that we have successfully achieved Cyber Essentials Plus certification for the Council.

CE+ is endorsed by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and is a badge that shows we operate a responsible and secure Digital IT service. This is a pat on the back for all of Digital IT in achieving this. PSN next and possibly ISO27001. Who knows!

Tuesday saw an update with LOTI and yet again shows that you can run really successful virtual workshops, virtually. Was a great session and starting to think about the recovery across London and how Digital and LOTI can assist. We have another in a couple of weeks to develop the ideas that were coming out.

Looking forward to the bank holiday weekend and already have the bunting out!
